Ascentive Advisory LLP has been founded by Kapil Jain in 2016, a finance and business management professional with 30+ years of experience in the Energy, Infrastructure, IT and Automotive industries.

He was deeply involved in establishing new business models for hydrocarbon storage in India, as member of the start up management team of Indian Oiltanking, a JV of Indian Oil Corporation and Oiltanking GmbH.

Leveraging a combination of financial acumen, analytical skills and strong business orientation, he held leadership positions as CFO both in India and Germany and Business Head in India.

He has had Concept-to-Execution involvement in establishing large infrastructure projects through long-term sustainable business models like BOO, BOOT, O&M, BO, etc., capitalizing on innate ability to integrate finance, commercial, operational, legal and strategic aspects of the business.

Both in India and Germany, he spearheaded the development of accounting, reporting and budgeting systems to adapt to emerging business needs, evaluated international projects across geographies, raised structured finance for large projects, co managed acquisitions & divestments and also a public floatation in the USA.

He has set up JVs with domestic and international partners, coordinated and structured the acquisition of companies both in India and abroad. As Board member in group entities, he contributed actively in guiding and supporting the management of group companies.

He is a Rank holder Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and alumni of the London Business School.

His country exposure covers India, Germany, Canada, USA, Turkey, Indonesia, Oman, Singapore, UAE, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Jordan.
